Indian Catholic youth movement madanthyar unit celebrated world youth day on August 5 in the church. The ICYM members celebrated this day by taking part in The Holy Eucharistic Celebration. The Liturgy of the mass was conducted by ICYM youth along with the offerings .

On this occasion, the church and its premises was cleaned by the youth on Saturday. About 20 youth were present for this good deed.
