On Good Friday we celebrate the memorial of Jesus’ death on the Cross. On this day evening ceremony began at 5.00 PM. All the people gathered in front of the Guardian Angel School to welcome cross. Procession was held along with the cross towards Church. In the Church short prayer was held. After this evening ceremony was held, Fr Basil Vas presided over the ceremony. Fr Alwyn, Fr Jerome and Fr Basil beautifully narrated the Passion of Christ in singing. Fr Alwyn D’Souza preached homily of the Sacredness of Cross. After the homily different prayers were offered and prayed for the various causes. Holy Cross was venerated with great devotion. Holy Eucharist was served for the Faithful and they returned home silently.
