Realising the importance of protecting nature and nurturing it, Diocese of Mangalore and ICYM Mangalore has undertaken various programs and initiatives towards protecting nature.
ICYM Madanthyar unit celebrated ‘Vanamahotsava’ on Sept 06th, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church premises by planting the saplings. This program was done under the guidance of ICYM Madanthyar unit Director Fr. Basil Vas, Assistant Director Fr. Steevan Coutinho and Animator Mr. William D’souza. The purpose of the program was to create awareness among the youth and to realize the importance of planting trees and plants and taking care of it.
