Easter Vigil began on Saturday evening at 7.30. We all gathered at the entrance of the Church to bless the light and Pascal Candle. Fr Lancy Lewis superior of Asha Deepa conducted this meaningful ceremony then procession with the Pascal candle was held. Fr Alwyn D’Souza pronounced good news of Jesus’ resurrection by singing the exulther. Then celebration of Word of God was held where four readings from the Old Testament and Psalms were selected. Jesus’ resurrection event was very well demonstrated by our youth. Holy Eucharist was solemnly celebrated by Fr Alwyn D’Souza. After the mass all were served with refreshments. Happy Easter wishes were head from all the corners of the parish.
