Nativity of our Heavenly Mother Mary was celebrated on 8th of September. 9 days novena was conducted in preparation for this feast. On 8th of September morning at8.30 corns were blessed in front of the Velankani Grotto. Solemn procession was held from the Bus stand till Madanthyar Church. Flowers were offerd to Mother Mary in front of the Church. After this thanksgiving mass was offered along with many other priests. Rev. Fr Basil Vas thanked all the people for tier tireless efforts. After the Mass MLA and MP were felicitated.
