Vespers day celebrated

Dec.6: Vespers day ( Bespu) was held on 4nd December, 2018, at the Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar,on the eve of the annual feast of the Church.

Faithful gathered in the town, near the Grotto of our lady of Velankani( in front of Nuthan Cloth centre) at 6.pm. Fr. Roman Pinto Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Church Thirthahalli Shimoga , proclaimed the word of God and preached in Kannada, and thereafter procession was taken through the streets of Madanthyar. Procession was accompanied by Musical band till the church.

The entire liturgical service (vespers) was conducted by Fr. Roman pinto, and the church choir beautifully sang the Paslms.

Hundreds of people participated in this spiritual event and prepared themselves spiritually for the annual feast of the church which will be held on the very next day.
