Parish annual Feast Celebrated at Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar

Dec. 6: The Parish feast of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar, was celebrated on 5th December 2018 with great enthusiasm. The solemn festive high mass started around 10.00 am. and Rev. Bishop. Pius Thomas D'Souza., Bishop of Ajmer was the chief celebrant of the Eucharist. Fr. Vijay Machado, Director of Mangala Jyothi, Mangalore, preached the homily, based on the theme of unifying the family and relationships. . There were around 40 priests concelebrated mass with Bishop. Soon after the mass, Bishop was honored for accepting our invitation and presiding over the Eucharist. He also inaugurated the Website of the church, www.madanthyarchurch.com

The entire Church and the campus were illuminated with lightings and decorations. Newly built Sacred Heart shrine and Cave became centre of attraction.

There was fun and excitement outside the church, ICYM, YCS, put up some stall for fun games. There were stalls displaying religious articles, sweets and refreshments and other stalls displaying verities of articles.

The annual feast of the church has given an opportunity for the parishioners to revive and renew their spiritual life and unite their family bonds.
